About Us
Helping couples plan, and wedding businesses grow
Australia’s Wedding Guide brings together the country’s wedding professionals in one trusted directory — so engaged couples can find the right people for their day, and the businesses behind them can reach the couples who are looking.
Our Story
A husband-and-wife passion project
Australia’s Wedding Guide was acquired in 2025 by Tracey and Darren — a husband-and-wife team with a genuine passion for the wedding industry and the people who make it special.
Having seen both sides of the aisle — the couples trying to find the right suppliers, and the local businesses working hard to be discovered — they set out to build something better: a clean, modern directory that puts trusted vendors front and centre and makes planning feel a little easier.
Today the Guide is growing every week, connecting couples across Australia with photographers, venues, celebrants, florists, caterers and everyone in between — and giving wedding businesses an affordable, genuine way to grow.

What We Stand For
The values behind the Guide
Trust comes first
Every supplier is reviewed before they go live, so couples can plan with genuine confidence.
Vendor-first
We're built around the businesses we list — fair pricing, real exposure and hands-on support.
Made with care
Weddings matter. We treat every couple's day, and every vendor's livelihood, like it's our own.
Australia-wide
From capital cities to the regions, we help couples find the right people close to home.
What Australia's Wedding Guide does for couples
Planning a wedding in Australia means making dozens of decisions, often all at once, and usually while juggling work, family and a budget that feels like it shrinks by the day. Australia's Wedding Guide exists to make that easier. We are a national wedding directory built to help couples find trusted wedding suppliers, from photographers and celebrants to venues, florists, caterers, stylists, cake makers, hire companies and everyone in between.
Instead of bouncing between a dozen browser tabs and half-remembered recommendations, you can browse by category or by location and see suppliers who genuinely service your area. Whether you are getting married in a capital city, a coastal town, the wine country or a regional pocket most directories overlook, our location pages are designed to surface the right businesses for where your celebration is actually happening.
Every listing is built to tell you what you need to know before you reach out: what the supplier offers, the regions they cover, how to view their work and how to make contact. We do not charge couples a cent and we never ask you to create an account to look around. There is no obligation, no pushy lead-selling, and no sense that you are being funnelled toward whoever paid the most. The goal is simple: help you shortlist the right people quickly, then deal with them directly, on your terms.
We also know that planning is as much about confidence as it is about contacts. Seeing a clear, well-presented profile, knowing a real person stands behind the directory, and being able to compare options in one place takes some of the stress out of the process so you can get back to enjoying the lead-up to your day.
What we do for wedding businesses
For wedding suppliers, Australia's Wedding Guide is a place to be found by couples who are actively planning and ready to book. We connect engaged couples with the photographers, venues, celebrants, florists, stylists, planners, entertainers and specialists who can bring their day to life, and we do it without the high-pressure, pay-per-lead model that frustrates so many small businesses.
A listing gives your business a clear, searchable presence on a directory organised the way couples actually think: by service and by region. That matters in a market as spread out as Australia's, where a wonderful supplier in a regional area can be all but invisible online. We want the boutique celebrant in a country town to have the same chance of being discovered as a big-city studio with a marketing department.
We are deliberately a directory, not a middleman. When a couple likes what they see, they contact you directly. You own the relationship, the conversation and the booking. Our job is to put your work in front of the right audience and then get out of the way. As the platform grows, our focus stays on sending genuine, relevant enquiries to the businesses that make weddings happen, and on keeping the experience straightforward for the people who run those businesses, many of whom are sole traders and small teams pouring everything into their craft.
How listings are reviewed, and where we are headed
Quality matters more to us than volume, which is why every listing is reviewed before it goes live. When a supplier applies, we check the basics that protect couples and keep the directory trustworthy: that the business is a genuine wedding supplier, that its details are accurate and current, that the category and service regions are correct, and that the profile is presented in a way that gives couples a fair picture of what to expect. We are a small, hands-on team, so a real person looks at what comes through rather than waving everything in automatically.
This review step is one of the things we care about most. A directory is only as useful as the trust people place in it. By checking listings before they publish, we aim to keep Australia's Wedding Guide a place where couples can browse with confidence and where reputable suppliers are happy to be listed alongside their peers.
Australia's Wedding Guide is run by Tracey and Darren, a husband-and-wife team who took over the business in 2025. Running it together, as a couple, keeps us close to the heart of what this is all about: two people building something for other couples planning the start of their own lives together. We bring a personal, attentive approach rather than treating the directory as just another listings machine.
Where are we headed? Our commitment is to keep growing the guide into Australia's most genuinely useful wedding directory, deepening our coverage of categories and locations so that couples in every corner of the country can find suppliers near them, and giving wedding businesses a fair, affordable way to be discovered. We will keep improving the browsing experience, adding helpful planning content, and listening closely to both the couples and the suppliers who use the platform. We are in this for the long haul, and we would love for you to be part of it, whether you are saying yes to forever or helping someone else celebrate theirs.
